The most common type of missing person investigation is a skip trace. This type of location is necessary when someone seems to have disappeared and they need to be located in order to serve citation or witness papers, collect on a judgment, or locate for child support reasons.
We can help you skip trace your missing persons by utilizing our databases as well as using good old fashioned investigative skills. (Please be advised, however, that we do not specialize in adoption cases and do not typically take these cases.)
The success of a missing person investigation depends largely upon the quality of the information available at the start of the investigation. We understand in some cases not much is known. We will collect everything you know about the subject, including: full name, last known address, date of birth, social security number, driver's license number, vehicle license plate, place of employment, friends’ names, hobbies, popular hang-outs, etc.
For legal matters it may be preferable that your attorney retains us so that we can protect the findings and suit our investigation to their specific needs. And in cases of lost relatives, lovers, etc, we will be the first to contact them so that if they don't want to be found we can keep their whereabouts confidential. This will keep us and you, the client, out of undesirable legal situations.
As licensed Omaha private investigators, we utilize sources of information that are not readily available to the public, and in some cases even attorneys. The cost of a skip trace depends upon the amount of information provided, the length of time the subject has been missing and most importantly how hard the person is trying to not be found. Getting started is easy...
All we need to do is first discuss your case either face-to-face, over the telephone or via E-mail. Once that is complete and your motives are ascertained we will get all of your available information, discuss your, and our, plans for the investigation, and answer any questions that you may have at that time. Then you can either download, or receive by fax or mail, our Service and Retainer Agreement, fill it out, and return it along with a $150 retainer.

Location/Missing Persons rates:
Skip trace/Locations - $100 minimum (Requires name, DOB, last known address as well as a valid reason for the search)
Our rates for locating a person by other means, i.e. field investigations, talking to past neighbors, visiting possible addresses, etc. are normally billed hourly at $65 per hour plus mileage and expenses, however as of 4/1/2008 new clients pay just $35/hr. plus expenses and taxes for their first case with us!
